“There are so many aspects of DJing that interest me, but I am most intrigued by the layering of sounds. Whether it’s adding a scratch to an existing song or by creating a new song with an instrumental of one and an accapella of another, fusing sounds live with turntables provides me with the outlet to be creative with the layering of sound. There is also nothing like a moving a crowd that understands and appreciates the skills you bring to the table.” DJ Skitzo
2010 CHAMPION DJ SPACE
“Growing up listening to anything from Bob Segar to Easy E, I listened to everything. Music was my way of freedom and Roller Skating had some of the best music ever made, Debbie Deb, Newcleus, Afrika Bamtamtaa etc…. Winning the first and only DJ comp at RumRunners back in 2005, I was mostly a top 40 dj with a blend of Ghettotech and House. Fellow djs that inspried me are, DJ Icey with the Florida Breakbeats, Bad Boy Bill with the House Music, and DJ Godfather with the Ghettotech and fast mixin.”
“I love that I can make anyone dance. I can read a crowd like a BOOK, not everyone can do this. I guess from learning from Professionals like DJ Romeo, DJ Ric H & Boogie Bill, you would know how to get the floor moving.”
